Getting Well

#38--Steps to Peace

  New Testament                                    James 5:13-16

Please replace your name wherever you see (NAME)

DEAREST [NAME],

This is taken from my letter to Debra and I pray that it will help some of you now. We have come a long way.  God is so good and I praise Him for His love and mercy and grace towards us.

James 5:13-16
Lord, [NAME] is in trouble, and she is praying.
[NAME] hasn't been happy for many years, let her be happy.
Let her sing songs of praise.
Lord, [NAME] is sick, sick of heart,

Lord if you want her to call for the elders of the church to pray for her and anoint her with oil in the name of the Lord, let her know it.

And with that Your Word continues to say that the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well,

the Lord will raise him up.

If he has sinned, he will be forgiven.

Therefore, Your word tells us to confess our sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.

That is exactly what we are doing Lord, [NAME] is pouring her heart out and You are showing us the lies that she is believing.

You are showing us those hidden sins that are keeping her from healing.

Please Lord, expose all the hidden sins, the lies that she believes that are in her heart that she might repent and be healed.

Please Lord, heal her from her bondages.
Jesus came to set [NAME] free.

Free her LORD.

We claim your promise in James 5:15 and 16 that says the prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective and

that these prayers will make the sick person well.

We have faith, but even so, we ask that You would help our unbelief and

continue to increase our faith until all doubt is gone.

Thank you and Amen.

With God's love,  Judy
