Giving Your Burdens To Jesus​

#10--Steps to Peace

Matthew 11:28 says, "Then Jesus said,
"Come to Me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
Take My Yoke upon you. Let Me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
For My Yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light."

 

Replace your name wherever you see (NAME)

Heavenly Father we come to You as Matthew 11:28 says,
[NAME] is weary. 

For too long [NAME] has carried heavy burdens. 

Lord, by Your mighty power and by Your Holiness take these burdens from [NAME].
Give [NAME] rest.
 

Show [NAME] how to take Your yoke. 

Show her that You will walk through life together and only YOU,  JESUS, can carry the burdens of life.
 

I pray that [NAME] will be teachable and she will come to know that YOU, JESUS, are humble and gentle at heart.
Lord, bring [NAME] to a place of rest for her soul.
 

Let [NAME] know that Your yoke is easy to bear and that You only give light burdens.
In the most powerful name of Jesus, Amen
