In the book of Psalms there were over 150 verses that talked about God as our protector, fortress, refuge, or rock.  So, if God says it over and over and over and over this ‘option of Fortress’ should be a very big deal for us to learn.  We can find this principle throughout the Bible. In the New Testament Jesus is called the Rock of our salvation.

And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself.

He was rejected by the people, but he is precious to God who chose Him.
