Lifting Our Heads

#39--Steps to Peace

Psalms, Proverbs                                      Psalm 27:1-6

By this time, Debra and I had been praying together for nearly nine months.

We hope you have benefited from these prayers and have found peace as you walked along the quiet streams of God’s healing waters.

Let's pray Psalm 27:1-6

HEAVENLY FATHER,
The Lord is our light and our salvation so why should we be afraid?

The Lord is our fortress protecting us from danger, so why should we tremble?

When evil people come to devour us, when our enemies and foes attack us, they will stumble and fall.
Though a mighty army surrounds us, our hearts will not be afraid.
Even if we are attacked, we will remain confident.

The one thing we ask of the Lord, the thing we seek the most,

is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of our life, delighting in the Lord's perfections and meditating in His Temple.
For He will conceal us there when troubles come, He will hide us in his sanctuary.
He will place us out of reach on a high rock.

Then we will hold our heads high above our enemies who surround us.
At his sanctuary we will offer sacrifices with shouts of joy, singing and praising the Lord with music.

With God's love,  Judy
