Proverbs 1:20-23–God will share his heart

Please read through the verses before continuing.  It is vitally important to read the Bible for yourself.  It is more important to read the Bible than to read what I have to say!

THE PRIVILEGE WE CAN EXPERIENCE   

 

Let me restate the last part of this verse!  GOD WILL SHARE HIS HEART WITH US AND MAKE US WISE!

​

Now is that totally awesome or what?  God Almighty, perfect God, wants to share his heart with little ole us.  God, All knowing God wants to make us wise.  Do you believe it?  Do you believe God will share his heart with you?  Do you believe God will make you wise?

It is so incredible to comprehend the love God has for us.  God WANTS to share his heart with each of us!  What a privilege!  Have you ever realized that privilege?  Have you ever thanked God for that privilege?

Let’s look at this statement a bit deeper.  Whenever we choose to enter into God’s presence, whenever we humble ourselves and seek God, whenever we take time out of our so called busy day to spend time with God—-God, awesome totally magnificent God WANTS TO SHARE HIS HEART WITH US!

BECOMING TOO BUSY TO SPEND TIME WITH GOD????

    

This verse humbles me, and makes me sad!  It does that because so many times I think I am to busy to sit down with God.  Me, the small created child, whose only power is given by God thinks she is to busy to listen to God.  It shames me and shames my attitude.  Why do I ever think that I am too busy or too important to spend time with GOD ALMIGHTY?  I repent!  I want to spend time with God.  I want to sit at the feet of Jesus and be like Mary in the New Testament.  I want to sit and listen to Him and enjoy Him and enjoy His love, grace, and mercy to me.  How pleasant it is to taste and see that the Lord is good!

 

And now for the benefit of listening to God’s counsel–we will be made wise!

I HAVE PUT MY FOOT IN MY MOUTH MORE TIMES THAN I CAN REMEMBER

   

I don’t know about you, but I have made a fool of myself more times than I would like to imagine.  I have stuck my foot in my mouth so many times.  I have said the wrong thing at the wrong time and regretted it.  I have been tricked and deceived.  I have believed lies.  I have lived believing lies.  But God wants to make each of us wise.

​

And because nothing is impossible for God, and because God keeps his promises–He will make each of us wise if we listen to His counsel.  Is that incredible or what?  It is so cool.  It is a WOW moment!

​

And now for our choice–the more we believe, the more we listen, the more time we spend with God, the more we benefit.

A SIMPLE SOLUTION FOR LIVING!   

 

LISTEN TO GOD!  Listen to God and He will share His heart with you!  Listen to God and He will make you wise!  How awesome!  God is so good and so good to those who love and listen to Him.  We cannot lose in life if we are loving and listening to God.
