In our relationship with God, everything depends on the heart.
It is with the heart man believes and receives the salvation of God.

There are over 900 verses in the Bible that use the word ‘heart’.  God wants us to have pure hearts toward him.  A pure heart is clean of all sin; clear of any impurity that is against God.

♥ One of the things we are to do with all of our heart is to repent.  That means admitting when we are wrong, changing directions and being determined to live God’s way.  We want rid of all sin.

​

♥ We are to love God with all of our heart.  All humans are selfish and self-centered creatures. It is a constant struggle not to love ourselves and our desires more than God.

​

♥ We are to serve God with all of our heart.  We are to be willing to serve others; but never with the motive of making a good impression or thinking about what we might get in return.

​

♥ We are to believe with all of our heart in Jesus.  We are to totally believe all of the Bible.

♥ We are to try with all of our heart to obey God.  We are to give it all we got. No excuses.

​

♥ We are to trust God with all of our heart.  This is hard.  It takes faith.  It takes guts and humility.

​

♥  We are to seek God with all of our heart.  Take quality time daily to get to know God better.

​

♥ We are to totally live for God.  Your Christianity goes wherever you go from the church, to the arena, to the TV, to the CD, to where you hang out.

♥ We are to pray to God with whole-hearted sincerity, humility, and intensity; fancy words add nothing.

​

♥ We praise God because we appreciate Him. If you aren’t doing it wholeheartedly, it is nothing but a shallow performance.

The Bible says that we will become closer and closer to having a pure heart towards Almighty God, if we do these things.

Long to have a pure heart towards God;

you will never regret it.
